Rating by category:
the garden, the beautiful house, the friendly staff, the birds singing in the morning
I had hoped to get a room to the garden, but unfortunately there was none available
Hotel is very nice, comfortable, big room (no. 2), good choice for breakfast, helpful staff, clean ... Generally, most of pluses.
Heating not functioning well i.e. cold room with no possibility of temp adjustment, shower being broken (room no. 2), some undefined noise coming from "somewhere" probably due to bathroom ventilation fan above, slow internet, too small TV set.
Good location for us
Comfort is not 4 stars.Small rooms ,not with klima
(1) a beautiful garden for the breakfast (2) nice balcony in the room
(1) small room (2) unfair manager: we shortened our stay but the manager refused to diminish the bill for the last night... since the hotel was half empty, they did not have to turn down other guests
I announced we were travelling with a wheel-chair.We were shocked when we saw that they didn't have a ramp.Their answer:"you didn't ask for a ramp".
It is not in the city centre, but at a fair distance easy to reach all important locations by bus or car.The location is quite.Room is spacious and comfortable, although in an old style (which is not a problem at all!). Bathroom modern and clean. Breakfast is very nice. Staff was always friendly and supportive.Excellent value for money in Vienna.
This is a clean and simple hotel with all basic amenities. It is far from the city center but reasonable walking distance from the boku University.
The hotel was perfect for us, as it was close to a wedding we were attending. It is a bit out of town, but there was a very convenient bus service to Schottentor in the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable. Because of the wedding, we regularly arrived back after midnight and there was no problem getting in.
The breakfast was ok, but unremarkable. However, the coffee was always a bit stewed and almost undrinkable. If it could have been made fresh, this would have been an improvement.
That the hotel is in the green 19th district and still close to city centre.
No air conditioning and very hot in Vienna. Rooms are very dated.
Helping staff & manager; Nice room
No air condition in rooms
Good breakfast, nice location on a quiet street with free parking, nice hotel garden
The staff is very kind and friendly. I used the bus from hotel to city centre and the staff kindly changed to small coins considering the way of payment at bus.
The equipment such as TV and and so is old.
The staff was very nice and helpful when we needed assistance. Our room was comfortable and the garden was a beautiful spot for breakfast.
Attracted to this for reasonable price (for vienna) and ease of access to city centre. Bus service is very easy and reliable. Inclusion of breakfast should not be underestimated as can be costly if eating in the city. For evening meal ask to be directed to the local austrian pub where food is good and far cheaper than in city centre - sorry - cant recall the name.
This is not a 4 star hotel. It is an average 3 star hotel. Rooms are fairly small and breakfast a bit chaotic - had to wait 20 minutes to be seated in a small dinning room. A triple room means a double with a sofa bed - for an alleged 4 star hotel I expect all beds to be proper beds
Good reception staff, free efficient wi-fi...As I only stayed one night, and then for a matter of hours, I did not have opportunity to review all facilities
